Dora, our gang leader, ties down vines onto the fruiting wire and uses 3 ties to keep the cane in close contact with the heated wire — our anti-frost system in April and May. The process used to take Robert and me 10 days but now with Dora and his team the job is completed in a single day. This saves our increasingly arthritic hands.
