June 2021
One of our wine club members, Andy from Kintbury, cheered our spirits by sending this photo of his sipping WWV fizz on the Island of Mull, accompanied by mussels and other seafood.
The canopy of the pinot noir vines is looking healthy but miles behind where we should be in June. This is our first year of gong organic so the only applications made to combat mildew are sulphur, the tinniest bit of copper, garlic and seaweed.
What year to start.
Mick Berkout, our resident photographer, has taken some superb close-ups pics of inflorence (pre-flowering).
